JM Promotions is an event and pageant management company that was founded by Jacqueline Matovu; who has also been the reigning Miss Uganda UK since it was last held in 2004. JM Promotions has been staging and organising events and beauty shows in the UK since 2004. Over the years, it has worked with various companies and organisations, and also co-ordinated the 2006/2007 Miss East Africa UK event. JM Promotion also founded, and hosts, the annual Miss ACS UK (Miss Afro Caribbean and Society in the UK), which is a charity fundraising pageant for all university students of the Afro and Caribbean descendent. It is now in its 5th year. This event was set up to help students to build up confidence and in the process have fun. |
JM Promotions joins the Miss Uganda UK 2009 team in putting together one of the most glamorous Ugandan events of 2009. JM Promotion's Jacqueline Maovu will be undertaking the day-to-day management of the contestants as well as providing the relevant training in elegance, etiquette and confidence that are required of today’s beauty queen.
